Still wondering why you can't take stunning pictures those professional photographers do even using the same fancy gadgets? Relax. That's simply because you don't feel like using Photoshop.
On this page I'm listing a series of images from public sharable sources, using Photoshop to regenerate their "original" looks that are similar to those often seen on our own cameras. I call this process "de-photoshopping". You'll notice how big differences post-processing can make and you'll appreciate the necessity of Photoshopping. Photographers (excluding photojournalists) are after all artists, and there's no reason they shouldn't make their works aesthetically-pleasing using artistic techniques. It's worth noting that it takes a lot to create a great picture aside from color readjusting. There's composition, theme-defining, right combination of aperture and shutter speed, light condition and luck. You'll find that most great pictures after de-photoshopping procedure are still good ones.
